Petroleum Ministry pumps 43 thousand tonnes of diesel oil to over come fuel shortage - statement
Egypt's ministry of petroleum pumped on Wednesday 43 thousand tonnes of diesel oil nationwide, Petroleum Minister Sherif Ismail said on Thursday, to overcome a fuel crisis which has persisted this week.

Kuwait to raise crude oil exports to Egypt, could send diesel
Kuwait plans to raise its crude oil exports to Egypt to up to 100,000 barrels per day from 65,000 bpd now and is ready to supply it with refined fuel too if needed, a Kuwaiti oil official said on Tuesday.

Government announces project to produce bio-diesel from cooking oil
The ministry of supplies and internal trade has concluded its technical research for a project to produce bio-diesel from cooking oil, the minister announced on Tuesday, adding that the project will be enacted "soon".

UPDATE l Kuwait boosts oil and diesel supplies to Egypt
Kuwait's national oil group will provide Egypt with 85,000 barrels of crude oil per day under a new contract which boosts supply from the Gulf Arab state by 31 percent, state news agency KUNA reported on Tuesday.
